Want (need?) some extra accountability to clean up your diet in 2016?

Join the Athletic Asylum Whole30 Challenge!

Whole30 is a month long, clean-eating program aimed at reseting your metabolism and reshaping your relationship with food.

The plan is simple.

For 30 days say no to…

  • added sugar in any form (syrup, honey, artificial, stevia, xylitol, etc.)
  • alcohol (It’s ONLY 30 DAYS)
  • grains (wheat, rye, barley, oats, rice, millet, bulgar, quinoa, etc.)
  • legumes (beans, peas, peanuts, soy)
  • dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, cream)
  • the scale!

And say yes to…

  • meat
  • seafood
  • eggs
  • vegetables
  • fruit
  • nuts
  • seeds
  • healthy fats

(Click here for a shopping list that is a fairly comprehensive of approved Whole30 foods.)

We can’t stress enough the “no” list isn’t forever. We are simply committing for 30 days to see how and what we’re eating impacts how we look and feel.

This is your chance to make some pretty drastic diet changes with the accountability of the gym behind you!

We’ll be using MyFitnessPal to track member’s food journals. Once you create an account click here to join the Athletic Asylum Whole30 Challenge group.

To join the challenge:

  1. Set a goal (weight loss, weight gain, take measurements, etc)
  2. Start keep your food journals on Jan 4.

Get prepping! We’ve got a lot of cooking to do!
